Sexual Abuse on Child 7th March
The fourth day, will be dedicated to a specific topic, namely, the issue of sexual abuse on child.
The morning will concern a discussion on the attendance of a forensic profile of the "pedophile-type" and to this regard we will compare the different schools of thought, of America and some European countries. In the afternoon, finally, the delicate issue of the reliability of the child and of the credibility of his story, we will be analyzed, again in a compared perspective, the tools available to the psychological sciences to assess these variables, analyzing in particular the limits that these instruments have intrinsic limitations or limitations germinated by an incorrect application of themselves.

The Congress will end with the presentation of the results of a research financed by the Interdepartmental Center for Research and Services in Forensic Medicine Applied, Penal and Criminological Techniques and Victimology of the University of Ferrara, entitled: "Suggestibility: research and applications in forensic ambit".
